Components of GIS

There are three main components of GIS that are as follows: – Data: GIS stores data based on location and each data set consists of an attribute table that helps to store information about the feature. – Hardware: GIS Software is run with the help of hardware. Hardware can be mobile phones, servers or a personal workstation. Software: GIS software uses math in maps. It put together the geography along with modern technology that helps to measure and understand the world.
