BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) refers to the process of sending email to other people without letting them know the other person to whom the email was sent.

Pros BCC

– BCC keeps your email address safe from viruses, malware and spam – Allows to send the same email to multiple people without letting them know – When you want to send some personal mail to third person without letting first person know about it

Cons BCC

– Sometimes BCC is referred to as a deceitful act, as the first person sends the mail to his known people and does not know that the mail is being forwarded. – Contingent upon the certain email server, the recipient may or may not know that the mail was sent through BCC. In some cases, the ‘undisclosed beneficiaries’ that are placed on the To line reveals that BCC is used.
