The full form of SHO is Station House Officer. He is the head of the police station in his locality. He is above the Sub Inspector & below the rank of DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police). SHO is one of the most reputed profiles in India. Millions of candidates want to become the SHO. He supervises the controls of the police station & his responsibility to maintain peace in his locality. He is also maintaining the law & order of his area.
