The full form of RAW is Research and Analysis Wing. RAW was formed in the year 1968 by Rameshwar Nath Rao, the director. It is the foreign Intelligence agency of India which was created during the post-Indo-China war in 1968 and the Indo-Pak war in 1965. In general, RAW doesn’t report directly to the Prime minister of India. However, the major purpose of creating RAW is due to the performance of the Intelligence Bureau during the war between China and Pakistan.

Therefore, focusing on the activities of the neighbors in terms of avoiding terrorism is a major role. Therefore, the Research and Analysis Wing focuses on avoiding terrorism and policymakers taking control of strategic interests.
Eligibility Criteria for be a RAW Agent-
*must be an Indian citizen.
*must have a Graduate degree from any recognized university.
*age must be between 18 years to 21years.
*must have knowledge in the field of computer or computer language.
*should not hold an office of advantage under government except current Vice President, Governor, or Minister of State.
Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) was founded on 21 September 1968. The headquarters of RAW is located in New Delhi. The wing executive of RAW is Samant Goel, Secretary. The RAW agent salary per annum ranges from INR 9.60 Lakhs to INR 15.60 Lakhs.
