The full form of PV is Polycythemia Vera. This is a type of Blood cancer that produces lots of RBC(red blood cells) in excess and it’s slow-growing cancer. Rather than excess production of Blood cells, it also causes Blood clots, which in turn leads to a Heart attack. Additionally, this excess flow thickens the blood and controls the flow which is quite serious. The PV disease is not much often common across, however during a Blood test, it is found. However, if not found at the earlier stage, it could be Life-threatening.
