The full form of PCO is Polycystic Ovarian. This PCO in turn leads to a common disorder in women known as Polycystic Ovarian syndrome. And this is also found to be a hereditary disease as per recent studies on it. Due to the increased amount of male hormones in the woman, it’s termed PCOD.
