The full form of NEET is National Eligibility cum Entrance test. The aspirants applying for MBBS and BDS admission have to undergo NEET exam, which is an All India Level common entrance exam. This exam is been conducted by the Central Board of Secondary education(CBSE) for admissions in government and private medical colleges. There were various medical examinations, however, the NEET exam came in place as a one-country exam. NEET replaced AIPMT, All India Pre-medical test.

NEET is an entrance examination in India, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for students who wish to pursue undergraduate medical courses in government or private medical colleges in India.

Especially in the subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and Mathematics. The minimum percentage of marks is 50%. The examination is offline mode and conducted for the students wishing to study Medical examinations. With this entrance examination, aspirants can study for Graduate Medical course(MBBS), Dental course(BDS), and other courses like BAMS, BHMS, and Veterinary courses too. One more added advantage is with these NEET scores, candidates can apply in Government and Private medical colleges too across the country. Therefore, knowing the eligibility criteria and applying accordingly will help in admission for the courses we like to take and study.

For General category candidates, it is compulsory to score 50% marks in the 12th class, whereas SC/ST/OBC category candidates need to score 40% marks to become eligible for the NEET exam for 2021.
The number of attempts was ahead of 3 attempts but from 2018 number of attempts was extracted so they can give neet exams as many times as they want to appear in the exam. that means now there is no attempt limit.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam tests the knowledge in three subjects namely Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. NEET exam can be given in various languages such as Assamese, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Bengali, English, Gujarati, etc. The qualification rate of NEET is 56.44%

The question paper has 720 marks. Four marks will be given for each correct answer. In the NEET exam, negative marking is present. One mark is reduced for an incorrect answer. In the year 2021, 15.97 lakh students appeared for NEET.
