The Full form of MNAMS is the National Academy of Medical Sciences. NAMS is the nodal agency that acts as an advisory body. This nodal agency works under the Government of India. This academy works to upgrade the medical policy of the nation and promotes medical education for medical experts. The headquarter of NAMS is at Ansari Road just along with ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, Delhi. Additionally, this academy is one of the finest institutes in India providing healthcare-related issues. The Academy was in working since 21st April 1961 and registered as the ” Indian Academy of Medical Sciences”.

Sanjeev Misra is the editor while V. Mohan Kumar and Mohan Kameswaran work as the Associate Editor and Assistant Editor individually and they are supported by an Editorial Board and editorial assistants strings.
Dr. Saroj Chooramani Gopal is the president of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS). The Honorary Secretary is Dr. Deep Narayan Srivastava. Dr. Mira Rajani is the Treasurer of NAMS. NAMS House is located in Ansari Nagar, New Delhi. The motive of NAMS is to foster academic excellence in Medicine.
