The full form of ISD is International Subscriber Dialing. ISD is also called International Direct Dialing. It is a kind of international call which is directly dialed by the person for talking to that person with whom want to talk. Every country has a specific code that is used for identifying the number where it is to be called is coming. The ISD firstly was used only in Australia & the United Kingdom until it changed to the International Direct Dialing terminology. At the 19th century maximum, international calls were directly dialed.
