HBSAG Full Form, What is the Full form of HBSAG?

HBsAg is known as Hepatitis B Surface Antigen which is a blood test that suspects whether someone is infected with the virus hepatitis B. It is also known as Australian antigen. This virus can spread to other people through the infected person’s blood or its body fluids if their blood is positive for HBsAg, then he/she is suffering from this infectious virus. Here only one sample of blood is needed for the test of hepatitis B. To make sure that a person is suffering fr hepatitis B or not it is needed to have all three test results. The name of the following tests are mentioned below :
(a) HBsAg (Hepatitis B surface antigen)
(b) anti-HBs or HBsAb
(c) anti-HBc or HBcAb
There are some symptoms for hepatitis B though it is not exactly examined. However, some common symptoms are :

The symptoms of Hepatitis B are invisible. A person can have Hepatitis B but the symptoms may not show up. It is said that it takes up to 30 years for the symptoms of chronic Hepatitis B to develop. If the symptoms are visible, it occurs with acute infection.
