The full form of GAIL is the Gas Authority of India Ltd. It is a company which controls by the Indian Government. The main branch is in New Delhi. It came into existence in August 1984 as a Central Public Sector Undertaking. Moreover, it comes under the administrative control of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.
