It was established in December, in the year of 1928. The board was registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act. By the time of 31st May 1926, the board was affiliated with International Cricket Council. It is also affiliated by the Regional affiliation, Asian Cricket Council, on 19th September 1983. Its headquarter is in Wankhede Stadium. BCCI is located in Churchgate, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, whose President is Sourav Ganguly and whose Vice President is Mahim Verma. Its Secretary, Men’s Coach, Women’s Coach are Jay Shah, Ravi Shastri, W. V. Raman respectively. BCCI is sponsored by – Byju’s, Paytm, Nike, Dream11, Hyundai, Ambuja Cements, and Star Sports. BCCI had 6 regional bodies as for its first members and now it has its 30 full-time members which cost Rs. 3308 crores. It is one of the main sources of income which is much bigger than that of ICC. BCCI does not follow the laws of corporate governance.
