The full form of BCG is Bacillus Calmette-Guerin, which is named after the two French scientists who have actually developed the TB vaccine – Albert Calmette and Camille Guerin. BCG is actually a vaccine that fights against tuberculosis (TB) and helps to build immunity against tuberculosis.
