The full form of ALT is Alanine Aminotransferase. This is a type of enzyme that is commonly present inside the liver as well as the heart. This enzyme benefits when the condition of the liver and heart functioning is been slower and damaged. The other name of ALT is Serum Glutamic Pyruvic Transaminase(SGPT).
