Let’s understand with an example here: let’s suppose if an engine is having a capacity of 1500cc or 1500 Cubic Centimeters, then the capacity of this particular engine would be 1.5 Litre that is equal to 1500 cc = 1500 cm3 = 1.5 Litre which can be used like 1.5L. So we can say that the 1.5 Litre engine is equivalent to a 1500 cc engine. However, piston arrangement and no. of cylinders are the dependent factors for in distribution of volume.
