Added to this, it provides consulting services to different Private organizations as well as Government organizations. The major important clients of the Central Industrial Security force are IB Thermal Power plant, TISCO (Tata Iron and Steel Company Limited). And also other clients are Orissa Mining CO and National Botanical Research Institute. Therefore, in installing such power plants and making presses for currency note manufacturers, CISF plays a major role.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) (established in its present form: 15 June 1983) is a Central Armed Police in India. It was set up under an Act of the Parliament of India on 10 March 1969 with a strength of 2,800. CISF was subsequently made an armed force of India by another Act of Parliament.

The headquarter of CISF is located in New Delhi, India. The Union Home Minister Amit Shah is the minister responsible for all the aspects related to CISF. The motto of CISF is “Protection and Security”. Atomic power plants, space installations, mines, oil fields and refineries, Ports, heavy engineering, currency press are looked after by CISF.

The exam consists of three phases namely the Written test, Physical Efficiency, and Medical Standard Test followed by Personal Interview and Personal Ability Test.
