The full form of HB is Hemoglobin. Hemoglobin in the blood contains or carries oxygen from the lungs or gills to the rest of the body. Hemoglobin is the oxygen-containing iron that transports metalloprotein in the red blood cells of almost all vertebrates along with the tissues of some invertebrates. When a body has an insufficient amount of red blood cells, however, the body needs oxygen to perform its function. This state of condition is known as anemia. A person is having low hemoglobin where they have a problem with shortness of breath, irregular heartbeat, and chest pain. The basic symptoms of low hemoglobin are –
